Compatibility with CanonEF16-35mm F2.8L II USM

INON INC. is pleased to announce compatibility of existing INON Port and Zoom Gear with Canon “EF16-35mm F2.8L II USM” (*1) when using INON “X-2” housing.

Existing INON “Zoom Gear 8-15” (*2) supports “EF16-35mm F2.8L II USM” zooming operation.
Either combination of existing “Dome Port II + Protector II Set” / “Extension Ring M” (*3) / “Extension Ring 36” (*3) or “Dome Port 115” / “Extension Ring M” (*3) / “Extension Ring 36” (*3) is compatible with “EF16-35mm F2.8L II USM”.

Each combination has the different characteristics as below:

●“Dome Port 2+Shade 2 Set” + “Extension Ring M” + “Extension Ring 36”
・Stopping down to F8 or further will have better image delineation when shooting at 16mm. (*4)
・Larger dome has advantage when shooting half-water/half-air image.

●“Dome Port 115” + “Extension Ring M” + “Extension Ring 36”
・Stopping down to F11 or further will have better image delineation when shooting at 16mm. (*4)
・Smaller dome supports easy lighting to shoot a subject in front of the dome.
・Inexpensive comparing to “Dome Port II”.
